It needs a name, and, to coin one at random, \u201cmemex\u201d will do. A memex is a device in which an individual stores all his books, records, and communications, and which is mechanized so that it may be consulted with exceeding speed and flexibility. It is an enlarged intimate supplement to his memory.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Considera un aparato futuro para uso individual que sea una especie de archivo y librer\u00eda privado mec\u00e1nico. &#8230;es un aparato en el que uno almacena todos sus libros, grabaciones y comunicaciones y el cu\u00e1l est\u00e1 mecanizado de manera que puede hac\u00e9rsele consultas con gran velocidad y flexibilidad.
