What\u2019s going on?\u201d&nbsp;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>When sarcasm arises:&nbsp;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI get the sense we\u2019re using humor to avoid a serious discussion. What\u2019s making this conversation difficult?\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>When a team member comes to complain outside the meeting, redirect them: \u201cI\u2019m concerned that I didn\u2019t hear this point of view in the meeting. What are you hoping to accomplish by raising it now?\u201d&nbsp;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>When someone tries to reopen a decision, ask, \u201cWhat new information do we have that would lead us to address this again?\u201d Be clear that it would have to go back to the team to be reversed.
